Yesterday, I visited The Musical Brain conference at The Institute Of Neurology with my course (MA Art & Science).
Whilst there, I met a lady called Claire who introduced me to the Sound Thought Project based in Glasgow.
I was particularly struck by this piece of work by the artist Calum Scott.

In 2010, I visited the Glasgow International Art Festival, and found a painting in one of The Arches galleries that had been created by placing a board on top of a speaker and letting the sound waves work their magic.It seems to me that Glasgow is the epicentre of sound based art! Very inspiring...
